Hello Models!!!
Let's start the judging session right now
BoA as Edward Scissorhands (Edward Scissorhands)
Shraddha: Wow.. This is freakin' amazing. Very creative and I love your version of Edward Scissorhands. Love the high fashion vibes from this photo so much. Great job Boa.
Emma: You look flawless, BoA. From the wild hair, to the vulnerability, the scissory outfit. I think you took Edward Scissorhands and made it into fashion.
Jared: This is even better looking at it a second time around. Way to channel your inner Scissorhands!
Jensen: Love the fashion take on Edward . And this is your best photo to date.
Jennifer as Cruella De Vi (101 Dalmatians)
Shraddha: The quality is not good Jennifer. A little bit blurry. But I definitely see Cruella in this photo. I want you to give more energy. Again, you look tired in the photo.
Emma: Indeed, it is so blurry that even the ELLE logo is blurred. I see Cruella in the fur only, and that's it. There's no wickedness, no cunning. I wasn't too impressed the first time I saw it in Cycle 7, and I'm not too impressed with it now. It is literally too beige in more ways than one.
Jared: Outside of the quality issue I am fairly impressed with your comparison. I can see a "don't mess with me" expression that Glenn Close's Cruella and the one from Once Upon a Time clearly both had. I love that hair standing up like hers does and obviously the fur coat makes this work and those shoes are delish. Mostly, I'm just glad you didn't go with Mystique or Katniss (thankfully they were off-limits).
Jensen: I will check this when I get home because on my phone this isn't blurry at all. The match up is brilliant
Laura as Jane (The Twilight Saga)
Shraddha: This is gorgeous. I get the Jane vibes. Not just from the physical appearance but also from your attitude in this photo. Great styling as well. Great job Laura.
Emma: Shraddha is a Twilight fan. I can't say I'm a fan though. I CAN say I am a fan of this. I think you captured the character extremely well.
Jared: You definitely channeled Jane here. I'm loving the red cloak, it's almost like little Red went ahead and ate the wolf, if you weren't portraying a vampire. It's simple but affective.
Jensen: Amazing!!!!
Margot as Lisa (Rear Window)
Shraddha: I don't know about the movie. So I have to google it and found out that it was a Grace Kelly character. I don't know anything about Lisa's character and personality. So I think you should gave us a little bit explanation about her. But from the photo, I can see the similarity in the styling between you and Grace Kelly's character.
Emma: Margot, we did ask you to attach a picture to your submission for reference. At the very least, an explanation of the character. I can see a visual similarity, but I am underwhelmed. You have a hand appearing out of no where, and I don't discombobulated arms were involved in the film Rear Window. Because of the angle, you're also missing a neck. And I don't think Rear Window was a film about a neckless monster either.
Jared: I'm sorry, who? *Googles* Oh, alright. Well I am sold you are channelling Lisa, and she is fictional. So this works, and it's so obscure. I wouldn't have guessed one of you would pick someone who is any less than iconic. You proved me wrong.
Jensen: Hmmmmm I know the movie......but would have liked a comparison photo to go with it. You look gorgeous but.......
Nicki as Smurfette (The Smurfs)
Shraddha: I love this Nicki. I think the styling is good. And you explained your photo nicely. It's very cheeky but please be careful with the expression. Overall, I love your energy. Great job, Nicki
Emma: I think this is your best picture to date, but I have to agree, the face is a little too much. I don't particularly have anything further to add that Shraddha did not touch on.
Jared: I could see you being any blue alien in the universe and you picked a Smurf... FANTASTIC! Know what would have made me completely sold? If your had was blonde instead of Pink. That would have done it for me. As it is, I'm liking everything but the expression. I have no idea what that is about.
Jensen: Very creative and very cute.
Paloma as Queen Amidala (Star Wars)
Shraddha: Wow.. This is. What I love about this photo is that it isn't a straight-forward version of Queen Amidala. There are strong modelling contents in your photo and I love the styling. It's like the high fashion version of Queen Amidala. I love this Paloma.
Emma: The face is amazing, and the styling is beautiful. I'm not sure I see Queen Amidala as much as I see Virgin Mary (I think you could have got away with her being a fictional character to a degree considering how many different iterations there are of her). But Paloma, those hands. They're so awkward.
Jared: Yes! Paloma killing it again. I totally see Amidala. I do have the same criticism as Emma, polka-dot nail polish? No, no. But not a deal breaker. Good work.
Jensen: Wow!!!!!!! This is awesome
Selena as Belle (Beauty & The Beast)
Shraddha: I love the concept. Very good. And the styling is beautiful. However I want to see more interaction between you and the Beast. And your face. I find it a little bit emotionless here. So be careful with that.
Emma: Selena, you're getting out modelled by a guy in a beast mask. He has some killer legs... Meanwhile, your legs... Honey, I didn't realise that the Beauty was the love child of Snow White and Sleepy. You're not all that tall, so you need to be really careful of looking short.
Jared: Fantastic work selling Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Everything is there to make this believable. I expect nothing from more of the Disney Princess from Wizards of Waverly Place.
Jensen: Amazing!!!!!!
